- Hi, I'm Scott Richards.
I am a Christian, I try to live my life the way that God wants me to live, I try to live my life to honor Christ, I desire to grow and become more like Him.
I think the most important quality of a person is character, Let your yes be yes, & your no be no.
At this time in my life one of my favorite Bible verses is Jer 29:11 "For I know the plans that I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope". The only great life is one lived for Christ.
I spend a lot of my time at Church, okay it's because I work there, doing stuff like sound engineering. Work with the Radio ministry. Praying with people, and I am on the Singles leadership.
The Lord has blessed me with the chance to learn & do a lot of things. Some people think that I could not have done all the things I have. Well if you stay bizzy and do more then one thing at a time, you can, With the Lords help.
Anyway, I am a people person, I think People should not take themselves too seriously. I am a very passionate person, I believe what I believe. I am a spontaneous, somewhat outgoing, and energetic.
I like to have fun and laugh (laugh w/me or at me just laugh.) I like to learn. I like trying new and adventurous things. I like to cook (for a time I was a paid cook, now it's just because I like to eat.) and I'm good at it, I do the cooking at Thanksgiving.
One of the first things I learnd to make was coffee. Oh that first cup of coffee in the morning. I don't know if there's anything that can top that.
Well maybe sitting across the table from that one, that one you know that God has put in your life, The cool ocean breeze on a worm summer night , music playing in the background, the sky at sunset, just the look of her Im at a loss for words.... Oh well I don't know, I have not found her yet.
So anyway back to things I like. Horseback Riding Camping, Vollyball, Skying snow/water. Standing before a group of people sharing the Word of God/my calling.

Looking Unto Jesus
Peter could walk on water as long as he kept his eyes on Jesus.

Get To Know God (Jesus)
What captivates your heart, your mind?
What is truth? How do you know?
What guides your path in life?
What do you base your dissections on?

Does a good parent need to spend time with their kids?

The Root of All Theology and Truth

“He came” –these two simple words are at the root of all theology and of all truth!
Before Christ came in the incarnation, there had been only the eternal past. Then from the time of creation, we have such hints as “In the beginning he was God” and “In him was light” and “all things were made by him” and “In him was life.”
Now it says, “He came!”

How Big Is Your Box?
We have all used the statement "don't put God in a box".
The truth is, we all, *the Church of Jesus Christ put God in a box, in our life , Churches and ministries.
Some of us have a very small box, which gives no room for God (the Holy Spirit) to move at all. The quenching of the Spirit.
Some of us have a medium size box, where we allow the Holy Spirit a little more room, so He can move in throw and around our life, Churches and ministries. But we are in charge.
