Scott Richards Looking Unto Jesus

Peter could walk on water as long as he kept his eyes on Jesus. "Looking unto Jesus." It is ever the Holy Spirit's work to turn our eyes away from self to Jesus; but Satan's work is just the opposite of this, for he is constantly trying to make us regard ourselves instead of Christ. He insinuates, "Your sins are too great for pardon; you have no faith, Hebrews 12:2 You do not repent enough. You will never be able to continue to the end. You have not the joy of His children. You have such a we… Continue

Scott Richards Get To Know God (Jesus)

What captivates your heart, your mind? What is truth? How do you know? What guides your path in life? What do you base your dissections on? "I’ve been told “A good Christian does not need to do devotions” Does a good parent need to spend time with their kids? Do good friends need to spend time together? John 21:24-25 tells us. …. We know that his testimony is true. And there are also many other things which Jesus did, which if they were written in detail, I suppose that even the world its… Continue

Scott Richards The Root of All Theology and Truth

He came …. John 1:11 “He came” –these two simple words are at the root of all theology and of all truth! Before Christ came in the incarnation, there had been only the eternal past. Then from the time of creation, we have such hints as “In the beginning he was God” and “In him was light” and “all things were made by him” and “In him was life.” Now it says, “He came!” We are struck by the wonder of these simple words. All of the pity that God is capable of feeling, all of the mercy that God i… Continue

Gh0stRid3r Don't let yourself be robbed!!

Don't let yourself be robbed!! “14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” .. .. Man’s disbelief has allowed Satan to rob the blessings away that God so desires to give. I quote II Chronicles 7:14, for it is one that is used to cut off faithful believers from God’s promises; not the verse but the unbelief of amateur theol… Continue

Kelly Patterson Mona-vie in place of medicine

Hello everyone, FY. I am currently taking a supplement called Mona-vie. I've been introduced to it by a fellow brother in Christ here at CCSB. I came down with a disabling virus that attacked my immune system eventually paralyzing me. I've been to several doctors for treatment without receiving definitive diagnosis, and now answers. I've been drinking this juice extract comprised of 19 fruit juices, with the main ingredient being the "ACAI" berry. If you want to get healthy or stay healthy, this… Continue

Back in Jan./ Feb. 07, I was hospitalized for depression. I was infected by a gentleman on the ward who was very, very ill. and should have been hospitalized for medical attention, not psychiatric attention. I had been infected with a severe upper respiratory infection along with a bacteria infection. I was laid up at home for 6 weeks. I thought I would… Continue

Dean Cook God Knows Your Troubles

We’ve all been through difficult times, had heart aches, experienced fear, and suffered from insecurity, and it’s good to know that God, our Father in heaven understands our plight. Psalm 31.7-8 says, "I will be glad and rejoice in your (God’s) mercy, for you have considered my trouble; you have known my soul in adversities and have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; you have set my feet in a wide place. " Notice what the psalmist says, God Himself looks upon us. One of the greatest en… Continue

Scott Richards How Big Is Your Box?

We have all used the statement "don't put God in a box". The truth is, we all, *the Church of Jesus Christ put God in a box, in our life , Churches and ministries. Some of us have a very small box, which gives no room for God (the Holy Spirit) to move at all. The quenching of the Spirit. Some of us have a medium size box, where we allow the Holy Spirit a little more room, so He can move in throw and around our life, Churches and ministries. But we are in charge. Some of us have a large size… Continue
